You know the ones about how the pressure blew the lid right off the pot and how the steam was so hot you couldn’t stand within 5 feet of the cooker. Today those issues are a thing of the past. New ideas and designs have made pressure cooking a breeze. Pressure cooking is one of the fastest, most efficient ways to cook. There is no submerging the foods in water with a pressure cooker. All you need is just enough water to create steam. Less water means more vitamins and nutrients stay in the food and aren’t cooked away. Being that everything is getting cooked in one area all the juices and flavors flow and melt together into one savory meal.

There you have it the pros and cons of pressure cooking. Pressure cookers aren’t a scary way to cook any more. They are economical and save time and money. Take the pressure out of cooking by letting the pressure do the cooking. It might your favorite of cooking those oh so tasty meals.
