5 Star Restaurant Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing |

Ingredients
|
* 1/2 cup buttermilk
* 2 cups sour cream
* 3 cups mayonnaise
* 1 TBSP lemon juice
* 1 tsp chicken stock
* 1/2 tsp garlic powder
* 1/2 tsp salt (more or less to taste)
* dash hot sauce
* 1/2 lb Bleu cheese

Directions

1. Whisk together all ingredients EXCEPT Bleu cheese until nice and smooth.
2. Gently stir in the Bleu cheese until blended well, but don't break the cheese up too much.
3. Refrigerate in sealed container for at least 2 hours before serving.
4. May be stored in refrigerator for several weeks.

I've tried a lot of store bought bleu cheese dressings in bottles, and have always been disappointed. So, I decided to find a real restaurant quality dressing.
After eating in several 5 star restaurants with excellent bleu cheese dressings, I got brave and asked one of the proprietors for their recipe. They gave it to me! I tweaked it to make it easier to make at home. This is my version of their recipe. Enjoy!
