Baked Asparagus Parmesan


* 1 large bunch fresh asparagus, washed and tough ends cut off
* 1 stick butter, melted
* salt and black pepper to taste
* 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (not the dried)


1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2. Clean asparagus and drop in large pot of boiling water for about about 4 to 5 minutes, or until slightly tender.
3. Lay asparagus in baking dish.
4. Pour butter over asparagus. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
6. Bake about 10 to 15 minutes or until Parmesan cheese is very lightly browned.


If you love asparagus and you love Parmesan, or any cheesy baked food for that matter, you'll love this dish. Be sure to let it get nicely browned on top before you pull it out of the oven. That's the extra special touch that sets this dish apart from other asparagus and cheese dishes. Oh, the butter also isn't bad!
