Baked Cod in Asian Marinade


* 2 tablespoons soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon honey
* 1 garlic clove, minced or grated
* 1 1/2 teaspoons grated ginger root
* 1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar
* 1 lb cod, cut into 4 pieces


1. Combine all ingredients (except cod) in a 1 gallon ziploc bag and shake well to combine.
2. Add cod, zip bag and coat cod gently and thoroughly.
3. Marinate in refrigerator for 1/2 hour to hour.
4. Preheat oven to 425.
5. Put cod in baking pan.
6. Bake for 15 minutes or until fish flakes and is white throughout.


Most fish dishes are very well suited to a nice marinade using soy, garlic and ginger. The combination is so tangy and sweet that any firm, white fish will be happy to be swimming in it! Serve this cod alongside a crisp, mixed green salad with a ginger and sesame salad dressing for a complete meal.
