* 1/2 cup cooked rice * 3 eggs (beaten) * 1/2 cup sugar * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 1 teaspoon vanilla * 3 1/2 cups milk * 1/2 cup raisins * Ground nutmeg
1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except nutmeg. Pour mixture into a lightly buttered shallow baking dish and sprinkle with nutmeg. 2. Place baking dish in a pan of hot water in oven and bake at 300° for about 1 1/2 hours, or until set.
