Best Almond Cookies


* 1 1/4 C of almond flour
* 1 C granulated sugar substitute
* 1 egg
* 1/2 tsp almond extract
* 1/4 C butter, room temperature


1. Stir the flour and sugar substitute together in a mixing bowl.
2. Add the egg and almond extract and stir until well blended.
3. Stir in the butter until a soft dough forms.
4. Preset the oven temperature to 350 degrees allowing the oven to preheat.
5. Form the dough mixture into 24 balls.
6. Place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with the back of a spoon.
7. Bake 7 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
8. Cool on the cookie sheet 2 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
