Better Banana Bake


*2 ripe bananas
*1 C cottage cheese
*1 C plain yogurt
*2 eggs
*1 TBSP lemon juice
*3 TBSP honey
*1/4 C flour
*1 tsp vanilla


1. Using your blender, blend together bananas, cottage cheese and yogurt.
2. Add eggs, lemon juice, honey, flour and vanilla.
3. Blend on high until very smooth.
4. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
5. Coat a glass 9 in pie plate with canola spray.
6. Pour mixture into prepared pie plate.
7. Bake on middle rack for 30 minutes.
8. Cool pie to room temperature.
9. Place pie in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
10. Garnish with bananas.


Any time I can use cottage cheese in a dessert is a bonus for me! I always have cottage cheese in the house because we all love it and it's good for you. Taking a dessert and making it a little bit healthier is a very rewarding experience in cooking. Enjoy!
