Blackberry Banana Vanilla Soy Smoothie


* 1 pt. vanilla soy milk
* 1/4 pt. fresh blackberries
* 1 firm banana, chopped
* 6 ice cubes
* optional: sugar to taste


1. Pour the soy milk into the blender then add the blackberries.
2. Carefully place the bananas into the mixture.
3. Add in the ice cubes.
4. Blend the mixture until frothy and very smooth.
5. Add sugar if desired and pulse a few times to blend.


We've been slowly replacing the cow's milk in our house with soy milk. It takes a little getting used to, but using soy milk in smoothies is one sure way to introduce it without a fuss. There are never any complaints when the smoothies come out!
