*8 hot dogs
*8 slices American cheese
*1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
Directions
1. Set the oven temperature at 350 and allow it to heat.
2. Split each hot dog lengthwise about 2/3 of the way through.
3. Fold each cheese slice and place in the split in the hot dogs.
4. Wrap one piece of crescent dough around each hot dog.
5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a cookie sheet, last fold down.
6. Bake 9 minutes or until a golden brown.
Story
I love a lunch that's a no-brainer. When the kids are home for lunch, usually dragging a few spare neighbor kids along, I like something that's easy, quick, and that they'll all eat. Well, hot dogs, cheese, and crescent rolls are about as kid-friendly as you can get.
