Cherry Banana Smoothie


* 2 Cup cherries, frozen
* 1 banana, peeled and cut into pieces
* 1 Cup cherry juice
* Maraschino cherries for garnish if you wish


1. Place the frozen cherries in the blender.
2. Add the banana pieces, and carefully pour the cherry juice over the fruit.
3. Cover the blender and blend until mixed together and smooth.
4. Pour the smoothie into serving glasses.
5. Top each smoothie with a Maraschino cherry just before serving.


This smoothie is nice and tart, still sweet and smooth though, thanks to the bananas and cherry juice. It's also a very colorful drink, perfect for company or special occasions.
