Chicken 'n' Veggies with Onion Gravy - Crock Pot


* 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
* 4 potatoes, quartered
* 2 stalks celery, chopped
* 2 lg. carrots, sliced
* 1 (11 oz) can cream of chicken soup
* 1 (1.89 oz) pkg. dry onion soup mix


1. Use a non-stick cooking spray and generously spray a large skillet
2. Brown the chicken for 5 minutes on both sides over medium heat.
3. Place the cooked chicken, potatoes, celery and carrots into the crock pot.
4. Sprinkle in the dry onion soup mix.
5. Fold in the cream of chicken soup until well blended.
6. Cook covered for 6 hours on high.


This crock pot meal is so uncomplicated that anyone in the family should be able to throw it together for dinner. Aside from peeling a few potatoes and cutting up some celery and carrots, the meal makes itself. The gravy is very flavorful, the chicken is tender, and the veggies are a classic blend, which makes this a meal worth coming home to!
