Chocolate Walnut Coconut Drops


*2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
*1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
*2 C coconut, flaked
*1/2 C walnuts, chopped


1. Set the oven temperature to 350.
2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
3. Place a saucepan over low heat.
4. Add the chocolate to the pan.
5. Melt until smooth, 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
6. Take the pan off of the stove heat.
7. Pour the milk into the pan and stir well.
8. Fold in the coconut.
9. Add the walnuts and stir to combine.
10. Drop by spoonfuls onto the aluminum foil.
11. Place the pan in oven.
12. Turn the oven completely off!
13. Leave the candy in the oven for 15 minutes.
14. The candy should take on a glazed look.
15. Remove and transfer to wax paper while warm.


It's nice not to have to choose between your favorite treats. I love coconut, chocolate, and nuts, so here's all three in a great little candy. This is a pretty little chocolate treat and is worthy to give as a special present or a hostess gift. Or, just keep a container filled for yourself!
