Cinnamon Apple Bread

Ingredients

* 2 1/2 cups flour
* 1 cup sugar
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1/2 cup butter (melted)
* 1 egg (beaten)
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 cup peeled, chopped apples
* 1/2 cup raisins
* 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Take a large bowl and add the flour, baking soda, sugar, salt, cinnamon, melted butter, milk, egg and vanilla. Mix well.
3. Fold in chopped apples, raisins and pecans (if using).
4. Pour batter into a lightly greased loaf pan. Top with chopped pecans (if using).
5. Bake at 350F for approximately 45 minutes. Make sure center is baked through.
6. Cool for 10 minutes in pan before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
