Classic Dill Dip


* 1 cup sour cream
* 1 cup mayonnaise
* 1 teaspoon celery seed
* 1 teaspoon dill weed
* 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
* 2 teaspoons seasoned salt

* cut up vegetables for dipping


1. Combine all ingredients, except vegetables, and mix well.
2. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.


This is a simple dip for veggies that lets the vegetables really stand out. Some dips cover up the flavor of the cut up vegetables, but this one does not. You can use mildly flavored veggies, like carrots, without overwhelming their flavors with the dip. You can spice this dip up a little with just a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if you like.
