Cocktail Time Beef Casserole


* 2 lbs beef sirloin, cubed
* 2 cans golden mushroom soup
* 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
* 1 cup dry vermouth


1. Preheat oven to 325.
2. Put beef in casserole dish. Combine the remaining ingredients then mix with beef.
3. Bake, uncovered, for 3 hours.


I'm not a chemist, so I don't know exactly what the vermouth does to the beef, but I know whatever it is, it's good! This is a slow cooking dish, so the meat comes out nice and tender and moist. It's creamy enough to serve over some hot, buttery egg noodles. A little fresh, steamed broccoli nicely completes your meal.
