* 1 cup macaroni, cooked just tender, drained, cooled at room temperature
* 2 cups diced cooked chicken
* 1 cup chopped celery
* 1 cup sweet green grapes, cut in half
* 1 cup mayonnaise
* 1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
* 1/2 cup slivered almonds
* 1 Tbsp. finely chopped green onions
* 1 tsp. salt
* 1 can (16 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
* 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Don't knock this recipe until you try it. The combination of chicken, almonds, grapes, pineapple, and whipped topping makes a nice South Seas style chicken salad.
You may want to toast the almonds before adding to the macaroni salad. Just take a dry skillet and put the almonds in over medium high heat, shaking until you can smell the almonds. They'll get slightly golden brown when they are ready, but the smell really tells you when to take them off the heat. Enjoy!
