1. Put chicken in crock pot. In a bowl, combine rice, broth, dry soup mix, bell pepper, celery soup and wine. Pour over chicken.
2. Cook, covered on low for 5 hours. Top with paremsan cheese, cover and cook another hour on low.

This recipe calls for white wine, which in this case I believe is a necessity. The wine blends so well with the cream of celery soup that I'm sure the results wouldn't be the same if you substituted something else. Of course, the alcohol cooks out so this dish is suitable for the whole family. Enjoy!
