Apple Cobbler - Crock Pot

(Crock Pot Apple Cobbler)


* 4 medium-sized apples, peeled, cored and sliced medium thick
* 1/4 cup honey
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 2 tablespoons butter, melted
* 2 cups granola cereal

* 2 tablespoons granola cereal to top when serving (optional)
* ice cream (optional)


1. Put everything in crock pot. Mix well.
2. Cover. Cook on low 7-8 hours.
3. Top with sprinkle of granola cereal and dollop of ice cream. Both optional.


This seems like a long time to cook this particular dish, but truthfully, half the fun of this recipe is coming home and smelling the "hot apple pie aroma" in the house. I recommend a little crunchy granola and ice cream to top it off. I mean, come on, would it be worth it without the ice cream?
