Beef with Double the Mushrooms - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 2 lbs beef stew meat
* 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
* 1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained (or substitute fresh sliced)
* 1 envelope (1 oz) dry onion soup mix
* 1/2 cup milk
* hot cooked egg noodles

Directions

1. Put everything, except egg noodles, in crock pot. Mix well.
2. Cook, covered, on low for 7-8 hours.
3. Serve over hot noodles.

Story
|
You can use fresh mushrooms if you wish, they'll cook down just fine. The onion soup makes a nice dark, beefy sauce. You can stir in some frozen peas at the end just before serving to add a little green. Enjoy!
