Dijon Shrimp Dip |
Ingredients

* 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
* 1 cup mayonnaise
* 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
* 1 teaspoon dried parsley
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon capers
* shelled shrimp or crackers for dipping
* optional: incorporate crab meat and use with crackers

Directions

1. Put all ingredients, except shrimp or crackers, in blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
2. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

It's party time! Forget the shrimp cocktail sauce... this is a much more grownup shrimp dip. You won't find it on every buffet so your guests will be very impressed with the culinary skills. (They don't need to know how simple it was to make.) You may also turn this into a crab dip by stirring in some lump crab meat after blending and serving alongside some good crackers.
