Divine Peppermint Patties |

Ingredients
|
*1 pkg. white frosting mix
*1/3 C light corn syrup
*1 tsp peppermint extract
*1/2 C boiling water
*1 (1 lb.) pkg. confectioners' sugar
*1 C peppermint candy, chopped

Directions

1. Dump the dry frosting mix into a mixing bowl.
2. Pour in the corn syrup.
3. Add the peppermint extract.
4. Carefully add the boiling water to the mixture.
5. Use an electric mixer on medium speed beat 5 minutes.
6. Soft peaks should form when the beaters are lifted out.
7. On low speed beat in the confectioners' sugar.
8. Use a wooden spoon and fold in the chopped candy.
9. Lay wax paper over a cookie sheet.
10. Form bite size patties of the mixture and place on the prepared cookie sheet.
11. Let stand 1 hour or until the outside has firmed.
12. Flip the candy over once firm and allow to dry further for 12 hours.
