Ham and sweet, fruity glazes go together very well. Choose a good quality ham to begin with so you end up with a nice tender slice. Cherries and basil compliment each other well. I prefer to use fresh basil, but the flavor of dried basil works excellent, too.
Enjoy this 'fancy' meal when you have only a few minutes to make dinner. No one will guess how simple it was to make. A little yellow rice or brown rice makes a nice addition to the plate.
