1. Put sausage and potatoes in crock pot, and mix together.
2. In separate bowl, combine the creamed corn, celery soup, water, salt, and pepper, mix, then pour into crock pot.
3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours, stirring before serving.

Corn chowder CAN take a long time to prepare, that's why I like this simple recipe. If you just have plain hash browns on hand, chop up a handful of onions and green peppers and toss them in with the potatoes. Of course, you can add some diced carrots and celery if you like, but the simplicity of this recipe makes it one of those "go to" recipes when you don't want to bother with a lot of prep work.
If you prefer, you can drain your creamed corn (or use niblets) and add a can of chicken broth instead.
