Fresh Raspberry & Sherbet Smoothie


* 8 oz carton vanilla yogurt
* 1 banana, sliced
* 1 cup fresh raspberries
* 2 cups raspberry sherbet


1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Serve as is or over ice.


We consider this a dessert smoothie and not a health smoothie. The difference of course is the raspberry sherbet. Although better for you than ice cream, you're still going to want to enjoy this smoothie as a treat and not a health drink. But, hey, you've got yogurt to counteract, right?!

Sometimes, the yogurt-only smoothies are a bit too tart for youngsters. If your kids claim not to like yogurt, here's a way to sneak a little yogurt into your kids' diet. They won't even know it's there when disguised behind the sherbet.
