1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. In large bowl, put tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice and basil. Toss together gently until mixed well.
3. Add drained noodles to tomato mixture and mix gently to combine.
4. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and serve.

You can make this into either a hot pasta dish or a cold pasta salad.
In the summer, I make the fettuccine first so I can let it cool off totally, then toss with the cold tomato and basil mix.
In the winter, I toss the vegetables together first and set them aside, then make the noodles. That way the noodles are still hot when I add them to the vegetable mix.
