Friday Fish Fry Tartar Sauce

* 1/2 cup mayonnaise
* 2 tablespoons finely diced dill pickle
* 2 tablespoons finely diced green onion
* 1 teaspoon fresh grated lemon peel
* 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
* salt to taste

1. Put all ingredients in bowl, and whisk together until blended well.
2. Serve immediately, or refrigerate in container with tight cover.

If you grew up eating Friday Night Fish Fries, you know how good they are. I always appreciated the good tartar sauce that was served with the fried fish. The restaurant style tartar sauce was always better than what you buy in the grocery store. You can tweak this recipe a bit, or leave it as is. Either way, it's very good with any fish you serve.
