Fun Fruit Kabobs

Ingredients

* 1 apple cut into 1 inch chunks
* 1 pear, cut into 1 inch chunks
* 1 Tbsp of lemon juice
* 1 can (8 oz) unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained well
* 24 grapes
* 24 fresh strawberries

Directions

1. Place the apple and pear chunks together in a mixing bowl.
2. Pour the lemon juice over the top and toss to coat the fruit well.
3. Divide the fruit into 12 portions that contain all of the different kinds of fruit.
4. Thread the fruit onto wooden skewers in any order you like.

Makes 12 kabobs

Story

This fruit kabob makes a great snack, breakfast, or dessert. Kids love the fun of a kabob. You can make this with a variety of fruits, as long as you choose firm fruits that hold up to a skewer.

For a special treat, make a dip out of vanilla yogurt, flaked coconut, and fruit preserves or orange marmalade. Whisk together until smooth, chill for 30 minutes, then dip and enjoy!
