Get Healthy Chili For Two |
Ingredients

* 1/2 lb lean ground turkey
* 1/2 cup onion, chopped
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 1 TBSP lite olive oil
* 1 (8 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
* 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
* 1 (8 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
* 1 small lime, juiced
* 2 tsp chili powder
* 1/8 tsp cumin
* 1/8 tsp salt
* 1/8 tsp black pepper
* dash red pepper flakes

Directions

1. Put onion, garlic and ground turkey in a large saucepan and cook until turkey is no longer pink.
2. Add remaining ingredients and stir together.
3. Bring chili to a low boil.
4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer slowly for 30 minutes.
5. Serve with a green salad for a filling, healthy meal. Whisk together a lite dressing for the salad by combining lite olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper, and dash cumin.
