Grilled Lemony Oysters in the Shell |

Ingredients

* 24 oysters in the shell
* 24 fresh lemon slices
* Seafood cocktail sauce
|

Directions
|
1. Clean the outside of each oyster shell well and pat dry with paper towel.
2. Heat the grill to very hot or the highest heat setting.
3. Lay the oysters on the grill grate and close the lid.
4. Checking the oysters every 3 minutes, grill until the top just begins to open.
5. Carefully open the top of the shell being careful not to loose any liquid in the shell.
6. Squeeze one lemon slice over each oyster.
7. Serve with the cocktail sauce on the side.
