Holiday Egg Nog French Toast |
|
Ingredients
|
* 1/2 cup dairy eggnog
* 1 egg
* 5 slices of bread
* 2-3 tablespoons butter
* syrup, powdered sugar, butter or anything else you like on your french toast
|
|
Directions
|
1. Lightly beat the eggnog and egg together. One at a time, dip a slice of bread in the mixture; let it sit a bit (30 seconds) to soak up the mixture.
2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat then cook the bread slices until nicely browned on both sides, probably a couple of minutes per side.

Story

The difference between regular French Toast and Eggnog French Toast is indescribably delicious. I think using nice, big pieces of bread adds to the wonderfully special festive touch of the Eggnog French Toast. Serve these on a Holiday morning and watch your family's eyes light up, and their tummies fill up!
