Johnny Appleseed Ham and Sweet Potato Bake |

Ingredients
|
* 1 lb slice ham steak
* 1 1/2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and coarse cubed
* 4 crisp, tart apples, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges each apple.
* 2 tablespoons brown sugar
* 3/4 cup hot water

Directions
|
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Brown ham steak on both sides then put in a baking dish.
3. Cover with sweet potato pieces and apple pieces.
4. Mix together brown sugar and water and pour over the top.
5. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
6. Remove cover and baste top with juices, continue cooking for another 15 minutes, uncovered.
