We grill out fish a lot all year long. And, with fish we like big bowls of cabbage coleslaw. But, it seems strange to eat all that healthy fish and then add so much fat and calories with the coleslaw dressing we like.
So, instead of buying bottled coleslaw dressing (which is loaded in fat and sugar) we decided to experiment with making our own. I don't know what took us so long! It's so easy to make your own dressing.
The hot sauce was the final 'ah ha' when we were taste testing. We also have thrown in a pinch of cumin, oregano, and dill just for a change. Be sure to do some of your own experimenting so you can find the perfect combination, too.
