Kid Friendly Cheeseburger Macaroni Skillet


* 8 oz macaroni, uncooked
* 1 lb ground beef
* 1/4 cup onion, chopped
* 1 can (10 oz size)tomato soup
* salt and pepper to taste
* 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded


1. Cook macaroni according to directions on package; drain well.
2. In large skillet, brown ground beef.
3. Add onion to beef and cook until onion becomes transparent.
4. Add soup, pasta, salt, and pepper to skillet and mix.
5. Simmer over medium-low heat until heated through and bubbling hot.
6. Top with cheese and continue cooking until cheese melts.


When kids are fussy eaters, it's hard to come up with nutritious meals that they will actually eat! This skillet has simple ingredients that kids know and like. Using tomato soup is a stroke of genius because it is so smooth and delicate in taste; even kids who don't like tomatoes will like this dish. The cheese doesn't hurt either!
