1. Place gelatin in mixing bowl.
2. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
3. Add ice to ½ C cold water to make 1 C.
4. Add to gelatin, stirring until ice melts.
5. Add lemon juice and stir well.
6. Fold in lemon peel.
7. Add whip topping and mix well
8. Cover and place in refrigerator until very thick
9. Once thick pour into crust.
10. Refrigerate over night.
11. Garnish with lemon slices.
