1. Put the oil, sugar, and lemon juice in bowl and whisk vigorously until blended well.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and continue whisking until smooth.
3. Serve immediately or pour into tightly sealed glass jars and refrigerate. This will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator.

I use olive oil because it's healthier, but you can really use any oil. For a fun twist, substitute smoky paprika for regular sweet paprika and you've got a smoky dressing that is perfect for potato salads, green salads, and even as a spread for Reuben sandwiches. This could be your go-to dressing, too!
Speaking of spreads, you can tweak this recipe by reducing the amount of olive oil and adding mayonnaise to create a thicker sandwich spread.
