Mango Raspberry Yogurt Smoothie


*1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
*1/2 cup fresh mango, cut into cubes
*1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
*1/8 tsp vanilla extract
*Mint leaves


1. Place all the ingredients except the mint leaves into the blender.
2. Blend until very smooth and creamy.
3. Garnish each glass of smoothie with mint leaves before serving.


We were fortunate to get a hold of some very nice mangos and raspberries at the same time. They looked so pretty together I thought they would probably taste just as good together. I used vanilla yogurt so there would be a nice creamy (and healthy) base for the smoothie. I like the tangy flavor the yogurt adds, too. You could probably use milk instead, or even ice cream if you wanted more of a dessert smoothie.
