* 1 lb ground beef
* 1/2 lb Italian sausage
* 1 can (28 oz) tomatoes, cut up (not drained)
* 2 cans (6 oz each) tomato paste
*1 1/2 cups Burgundy
* 1 cup water
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
* 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
* 1/8 teaspoon pepper
* 3 bay leaves
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 can (6 oz) sliced mushrooms
* 1/2 cup sliced pimiento stuffed green olives
* hot cooked spaghetti noodles

1. Brown ground beef and Italian sausage in large saucepan. Drain fat. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, Burgundy, water, onion, bell pepper, bay leaves and garlic. Do not cover. Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
2. Discard bay leaves. Add mushrooms and olives and simmer for another 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.
3. Serve over hot noodles.
