Fruit Chutney is a great, special occasion treat. What I like about this recipe is it doesn't just taste super-sweet, like some chutney does. When you mix in the vinaigrette and curry powder, the whole aroma changes. Chutney should, in my book, have a little bite to it behind the sweetness. This is very rich so you might want to spread a little whipped cream cheese on your cracker before you put on your chutney. The cool and creamy cream cheese is a nice background for the sweet and spicy chutney.
