Mozzarella Mushroom Chicken - Crock Pot


* 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
* 10 oz can French onion soup
* 4 oz jar sliced mushrooms, drained
* 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
* salt and pepper
* 2 tablespoons olive oil


1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then brown in hot oil in large skillet. Place in crock pot. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
2. Cook, covered, on low for 6 hours.


Anytime you want to coax your finicky eater into trying something new, cover it in gooey mozzarella cheese! This is a great easy meal that will appeal to most everyone you serve. I like to serve it over a plate of hot pasta. It's a natural with the mozzarella cheese running all over. Take a handful of grated mozzarella and sprinkle over the top for added gooey goodness.
