Mushroom Gravy Beef Patties |
Ingredients

Gravy:
*1/4 C of cornstarch
*2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans of condensed beef consommé
*1 (6 oz.) jar of sliced mushrooms
*4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
*1 tsp dried bail
Patties:
*1 egg, lightly beaten
*1/2 C of bread crumbs
*1 onion, chopped fine
*1/2 tsp season salt
*1/4 tsp pepper
*1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

Directions

1. Whisk the cornstarch and consommé until smooth then stir in the next 3 ingredients.
2. Mix the next 5 ingredients together in a separate bowl then mix in the beef, using your hands.
3. Make 6 oval patties and fry in heavy skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cook until done to your liking.
4. Remove patties to plate and pour gravy into skillet, cooking on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring often.
5. Put patties back in skillet with gravy and heat together for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve patties hot with gravy poured over the top of each serving.

Story

This is a very easy skillet meal that's filling and full of flavor. Boil and smash some Yukon Gold potatoes to go along with the patties and drizzle a bit of the gravy over the potatoes as well as the beef patties. Also, include green beans as a vegetable side dish for a really nice meal.
