Mustard Breaded Chicken - Crock Pot


* 1 3/4 cups flour
* 2 tablespoons dry mustard
* 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 10 oz can cream of chicken soup
* 1/4 cup water


1. Combine the flour with the mustard, then coat chicken with mixture. Brown coated chicken breasts in hot oil in a large skillet then put in crock pot.
2. Pour soup and water into crock pot. Cook, covered, on low for 7 hours.


If you like simple chicken dishes, not too fussy, not too bland, this is a great recipe to try out on your family. Serve these chicken breasts alongside a nice, big salad and your meal is complete. You may also want a side of brown rice or whole grain pasta. The tangy dry mustard flavor is a nice contrast to any sort of sweet salad, perhaps with diced red bell peppers on top.
