Peppercorn Salad Dressing

Ingredients

* 2 tablespoons diced shallots
* 2 tablespoons vinegar
* 1 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/4 cup sour cream
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
* 1/4 cup half & half
* 3/4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
* 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
* 2 1/2 teaspoons cracked peppercorns
* 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients and whisk together well.
2. Cover and refrigerate for at least one full day before serving.

Story

I really love having fresh salad dressings waiting for me in the refrigerator whenever I want a salad. If you read the ingredients in store-bought dressings, you'll see why it's so nice to make your own. You control not only the taste, but the additives. Fresh is best!
