1. Put ham in crock pot.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the orange juice, water, and crushed pineapple (including juice from can); then pour over ham.
3. Sprinkle the brown sugar on top of ham.
4. Cover the crock pot and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or until ham is tender.
Crock pot cooking doesn't get much easier than this! Just add a few deliciously sweet ingredients to a good piece of ham and dinner is served. Make a pot of brown rice to go along with the ham because you'll have some good pan drippings in the crock pot when the ham is done. For a vegetable, I usually like to serve something sweet to compliment the sauce, like snow peas. But, really, anything green and fresh will work. Enjoy!
One thing I highly recommend is buying the very best ham you can afford. The flavor and texture makes a difference. If you start off with a watery, rubbery ham, the crock pot can't help you out. Also, if you have to cut the cooking time a bit shorter, you don't have to worry when you buy a good, cooked or smoked ham.
