Pizza Chicken - Crock Pot


* 8 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1/8 tsp pepper
* 1 medium onion, diced
* 1 lg. green bell pepper, diced
* 2 C of pizza sauce
* 1 C shredded mozzarella cheese


1. Season the chicken on both sides with the salt and pepper.
2. Lay the seasoned chicken into the slow cooker.
3. Spread the onion and pepper evenly over the chicken.
4. Pour the pizza sauce over the entire mixture.
5. Cook covered for 4 1/2 hours on low.
6. After turning off the heat, stir to combined the ingredients.
7. Sprinkle in the mozzarella cheese and re-cover the slow cooker.
8. This should sit about 10 minutes or until the cheese completely melts.


Pizza in any way, shape, or form is a favorite in my household. If it has pizza sauce on it and is covered in mozzarella cheese, it's worth eating!

Chicken can get sort of tedious when presented more than a couple times in a week. Creating a meal that is a family favorite, like pizza, using chicken can keep the chicken fatigue from setting in.
