Pizza Party Pinwheels |
Ingredients

* 1 egg, separated
* 1/2 C pepperoni slices, diced
* 1/2 C Mozzarella cheese, shredded
* 1/4 tsp dried oregano
* 1 (8 oz) pkg. crescent rolls

Directions

1. Set oven to 375 degrees.
2. Separate the egg white and yolk and place into 2 separate bowls.
3. In the bowl with the yolks put the pepperoni, cheese, oregano, and mix together.
4. Separate the dough over a flour coated work surface and form into four rectangles being sure to seal any perforations.
5. The pepperoni mixture is spread over the rectangles coming to within 1/4 inch of the edge of the dough.
6. Starting with the short side, roll up like a jelly roll pinching the seams together.
7. The rolls are cut into 6 even slices.
8. Spray a baking sheet with a non-stick cooking spray and place the slices in a single layer on the sheet.
9. Beat the egg whites until frothy and brush each round with a little of the egg white.
10. Put in oven and bake 13 minutes.
