Pizza Penne Pasta Bake |

Ingredients
|
* 2 1/2 cups penne pasta, cooked and drained per package directions
* 12 oz hot Italian sausage links, sliced
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 3 garlic cloves, minced
* 15 oz can tomato sauce
* 14 oz jar spaghetti sauce
* 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Brown the sausage with the onions and garlic and drain fat if necessary.
3. Mix the tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese, oregano and basil. Add pasta and sausage mixture and stir to mix well.
4. Transfer to baking dish.
5. Bake for 30 minutes.
6. Top with the rest of the cheese and return to oven.
7. Bake another 5 to 6 minutes or until cheese is melted and very lightly browned.
