Quinoa Oat Crackers |
Ingredients

* 1 1/2 cups white flour
* 1/2 cup oat bran
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1/4 cup powdered milk
* 2 tbsp shortening
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 cup malted barley
* 1/2 cup quinoa flour
* approx. 1/2 cup warm water, enough to make moist dough.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Mix shortening into all dry ingredients and blend until a corn meal consistency is reached.
3. Add water and stir well.
4. Knead prepared dough on a floured board for five minutes, then cut into 4 equal parts.
5. Roll each piece thin and cut into desired shapes.
6. Bake for six to eight minutes or until light brown. Cool and store in an airtight container.
