Raisin Nut Rolls


* 1 C raisins
* 1 C walnuts
* 1 TBSP canola oil (to coat your hands)
* 1 C almonds, chopped very fine


1. Place the raisins and walnuts into the blender.
2. Blend until just mixed together.
3. Coat your hands with canola oil to keep the mixture from sticking.
4. Roll small amounts of the mixture into balls (the size is up to your liking.)
5. Place the chopped almonds into a shallow bowl.
6. Roll each ball into the almonds to cover completely.
7. Place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.


I thought candy making was supposed to be hard! This nifty little nutty treat is so simple and wonderfully delicious. And when your kids ask for them, go ahead and let them have more. These are treats that are actually good and good for you.
