1. Mix together milk, cinnamon, 1/2 tsp of vanilla and cloves together in a large saucepan.
2. Heat over low heat until mixture just begins to boil.
3. In a large bowl whisk egg yolks and sugar together until fluffy.
4. Place egg mixture into pan with milk mixture.
5. Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until thickened.
6. Do not allow mixture to boil bowl.
7. When mixture has thickened remove cloves with spoon.
8. Remove mixture from heat and allow cooling for about 2 hours.
9. When mixture has cooled add 2 tsp of vanilla, cream and nutmeg.
10. Stir well.
11. Cover and refrigerate over night.
12. Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
