1. In a large mixing bowl put apples, juice, cinnamon and tapioca together.
2. Allow standing for 15 minutes to incorporate flavors together.
3. Do not stir until after 15 minutes.
4. Then stir all ingredients together well.
5. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.
6. Sprinkle the walnuts over the top all the way to the edges.
7. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
8. Bake pie 15 minutes.
9. Lower heat to 350 degrees.
10. Continue to bake pie 45 minutes or until lightly brown on top.
